We are a private company limited by shares incorporated in Abu Dhabi Global Market, registration number 34595, with our registered office at Al Khatem Tower, WeWork Hub 71, ADGM Square, Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. • When you send a message through the contact form: your name, organisation, work email address, the desk you chose and your message.
• When you request registered-investor access: your name, organisation, work email address, investor type, and your confirmation that you are a professional or accredited investor.
• When you subscribe to investor alerts: your email address.
• When you email us directly: your email address and anything you choose to include.
• When you browse the site: technical information our hosting provider records to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. Our analytics counts visits in aggregate, without cookies and without building a profile of you.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, such as health or religious information. Please do not include it in messages.

• To reply to your enquiry and route it to the right desk. Our basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
• To assess whether you are eligible for registered-investor access, and to manage that access. Our basis is our legitimate interest in sharing confidential information only with eligible investors, and our legal obligations where they apply.
• To send the investor alerts you ask for. Our basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To operate, secure and improve the website. Our basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure and reliable website.
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Our basis is legal obligation and our legitimate interests.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

• Service providers who host the website and store form submissions on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect the data and use it only on our instructions. Today these are Vercel Inc., which hosts the site, and Supabase, which stores form submissions in the European Union.
• Professional advisers, such as lawyers, auditors and corporate finance advisers, who owe us a duty of confidentiality. As the contact form explains, investor and founder enquiries may be shared with advisers under confidentiality.
• Regulators, courts and law enforcement bodies, where the law requires it.
• A buyer or successor, if our business or assets are transferred, subject to confidentiality.

Form submissions are stored in Germany. Our hosting provider may process technical data in the United States and other countries where it operates. Where personal data leaves Abu Dhabi Global Market for a jurisdiction that is not recognised as providing adequate protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards permitted by the ADGM Data Protection Regulations 2021, such as standard contractual clauses.

• Contact messages: up to two years after our last exchange with you.
• Investor access requests and records: for as long as your access continues, then for up to five years, so we can show who received confidential information and when.
• Investor alerts: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only a record of your opt-out.
• Technical logs: for the short periods our hosting provider sets.

We may keep data for longer where the law requires it, or to deal with a legal claim.

We use access controls, encryption in transit and restricted database permissions. Form submissions can be written by the website but cannot be read back through it.

Subject to the conditions set by law, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have it corrected if it is inaccurate;
• have it erased;
• restrict or object to our use of it;
• receive it in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@simpleholdings.live. We may need to confirm your identity before we respond, and we will reply within the time the law requires.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Office of Data Protection of Abu Dhabi Global Market.

This website is intended for professional audiences and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.
